Nothing compares to holding your own child for the first time and having it gaze back at you. It's pure magic! My kids are teenagers now but I can still remember those times so clearly. You can kind of prepare for the fact you'll have broken sleep etc but you're never prepared for the totally overwhelming love you feel for your children. You'll know what I mean in the coming weeks! I'm sure you'll spend many hours just watching him sleep! (or was that just me???) All the best to you both :-) Such a special time isn’t it?
