Yes, this is a huge responsibility. It may mean you will need to stay up late into the night making sure that remote control car is a reliable toy. It may mean a sleepless night or two making sure that video game is rated appropriately. It may even mean denying the use of these toys to your children for extended periods of time just so that you can selflessly ensure they are the very best for your offspring. Nick, I have had to do this as did my father and most likely his father before him. It is yoke that we bear... but alas, all for our children. Everything for our children. But bewarned, not all mothers understand this necessity. Just as we can never truly understand.. uh.. PMS -or- something. Should you be scorned, stand firm brother, and understand that fathers around the world are behind you playing with their children's toys as well. Just because we're supposed to act like a grown-up doesn't mean we can't act like a kid once in a while :P I'm looking forward to the day that I get to play Lego's and video games with my children.
