I shall miss your blogs Nick, as they are always so interesting and entertaining. I also find that I have learnt a lot about you I didn’t know even though I am your Mum. Please don’t cut them down too much,
Don’t worry Mum (undercover as Mark), I’ll try to make my one paragraph blog posts action-packed!
OMG Nick, I do not like this one bit! Keep LC alive, the way it was!!!
It’s more alive than ever, Mike… just in smaller, bite-sized pieces.
Looking forward to where this will go Nick …. you can use Twitter as a means to post back to your blog. There’s lots of good WP plugins to get both working back and forth with each other …. of course, an iPhone helps with the mobility of it all … blogging while forming the stool sample is very possible.
Thanks Neil, you’ve made me add my latest Twitter activity to the top of each page… now people can get up-to-the minute coverage of my life! No need for an iPhone, though, since I’m always at home anyway.
This is a good point Neil and I hope you are taking notes Nick!
uh oh.
This doesn’t bode well for me. I figured if anyone could handle the time sink of a blog it was you. If you are scaling back I wonder if I can really handle DailyJ.
But I know you have a billion or so other things to manage on the web so it is understandable.
Glad to hear that JapanSoc will be a main focus though. You have done so much for the J-web community. Otsukaresama!
It’s not so much scaling back as it is giving an excuse not to do “big” posts – you know, the ones that take over an hour. Instead, I might go the Japanese way and post a photo of my lunch with the comment, “I ate this for lunch”.
