Here are some of the websites I have made so far…

ESL-Kids.com

ESL-Kids.com - flashcards, worksheets and more!If you teach ESL to children then you should stop by ESL-Kids.com. You’ll find a growing number of flashcards, games and songs to use in your classes. What makes ESL-Kids so special is its unique Worksheet Generator which allows you to instantly create an infinite number of theme-based worksheets for you lessons. There are over a dozen worksheet wizards to choose from including bingo, word-picture matching, tracing, multiple choice and spelling quizzes, as well as game sheets using dice and ‘rock, scissors, paper’. Subscribe to the ESL-kids blog feed for updates on new themes and anything else added to the site.

Visit http://www.esl-kids.com/ and and try the Worksheet Generator - you’ll love it!

ESL Writing Wizard

ESL Writing Wizard - Create handwriting practice worksheets! The ESL Writing Wizard is a tool for making custom handwriting practice worksheets for children. It allows you to automatically make writing worksheets using fonts similar to the most commonly used D’Nealian and Zaner-Bloser styles. You can make worksheets for the alphabet, words, sentences, or name-writing practice. The One-Word and Multi-Word wizards give you the flexibility to edit your worksheets to suit your children’s needs - and it’s all for free.

The ability to enter word lists, sentences, or even paragraphs, sets this website apart from other similar sites, and with the option of either manuscript or cursive fonts, the worksheets aren’t limited to kindergarten ABCs. Another great feature is the worksheet database, which lets you ‘publish’your creations online to use again in the future or for other teachers and parents to use with their own kids.

With a huge list of ready-made alphabet practice sheets, and over 3,000 user-created worksheets, the ESL Writing Wizard is fast-becoming, if it isn’t already, the website to turn to for handwriting practice.

Visit http://www.eslwritingwizard.com/ and try it for yourself.

Dolch-Words.com

Dolch-Words.com - The 220 most common words in children's books!Edward. W. Dolch surveyed a great quantity of children’s books and was able to compile a list of the 220 most commonly used words in children’s literature. The Dolch-Words website has printable versions of the list, divided into grade levels and frequency, as well as a list of the 95 most common nouns.

Learning the most frequently used words is a great way to get your kids reading quickly, but since most of the words are ’sight’ words, i.e. they can be prounced phonetically, it is better to learn them within common phrases. Fortunately, Dolch-Words.com has a list of 150 Dolch phrases and a clever tool to create flashcards, writing practice worksheets, and a fun ‘rock, scissors, paper’ game using random selections from the list.

Visit http://www.dolch-words.com/ and try the Dolch Phrase Generator!

Math Worksheet Wizard

Math Worksheet Wizard - Create instant math worksheets! If you’re an ESL teacher then you might not have much use for this, but it is becoming very popular among elementary and homeschool teachers. As the title suggests, this tool creates worksheets for math practice. Choose from addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, or a mix of all four skills, and click a button to create an instant math worksheet. Every time you click, you get a brand new, randomly-generated worksheet!

Use it to reinforce the problem-solving techniques the kids have been taught, as a time-filler, or as homework. It’s simplicity makes it a great time-saver for teachers everywhere.
